Use your old Dish as an 802.11 Wireless Networking Antenna

Filed under: Uncategorized — tmaster @ 10:17 am

It is easy to make a surplus dish into a highly directional antenna for the very popular IEEE 802.11 wireless networking. The resulting antenna has about 22 db of gain with around a 10 miles range.

This conversion is shown using a old Primestar Dish but will also work with a old DirecTV or Dish network dish but the range will be less.
