Using the camera on the SYMA x8W FPV drone

The Syma x8W drone now comes with a wifi camera. It looks just like the x5w wifi camera but testing has shown its different internals in that we could not get the x8w to work with the control signals on the x5w drone.
The camera is a IP camera running in Ad Hoc mode. I have been able to gather the following about the camera. It is made by Shenzhen Reecam They make several apps see here

When i try to connect my Syma X8HW cam with browser (Firefox 50.1.0 ,Win XP SP3) i get a message “The specified stream is not mjpeg coded” same message connecting with smartphone (Alcatel 918D, Android 2.3.6).When trying connection with windows tool IPcamera i get cameras “Device ID” and “System Firmware Version” plus message “Web Ui does not exist, dbclick to upgrade”. also tryed to stream camera with VLC player and rtsp protocol without success.
