Everspring/Utilitech Water Sensor driver for hubitat
Everspring Flood Sensor ST812-2
Utilitech Water Leak Detector TST01-1 (Lowe's)

I created this because the internal drivers would not report my battery

repo located here - import URL for hubitat

reset device press 10 times. remove batteries. reinstall and exclude.
include pressing the button several times slowly or it will reset..
  Wait and Wait.

If include fails check zwave log and if the device is in the log you must remove before retying.

This driver tries to solve problems with no battery reports

Update: New version totally rewritten and better than ever.

Most of the time pairing a new device works ok. But sometimes re-pairing and resetting is a pain. Resetting has to be done several times.

If having trouble pairing go to settings/zwave detail and find a listing where it was added but failed.  If no option to remove press refresh and it will eventually give you a option to remove.  Remove it otherwise the hub will never see it as a new device. Then select Zwave exclude at the top and press the button. It should reset it. Sometimes the hub needs to be rebooted if it still wont repair. But sometimes it just has to be reset until it pairs. Be sure its close to the hub.

Thanks for posting! Still can’t get it to complete the initializing process tho. Says “Found a z-wave device initializing” then hangs…

Yes this is one of the hardest devices to pair and repair. When it fails to pair the zwave device will be listed in your zwave log. You need to remove it before trying to pair again.

Go to settings ,Zwave details. You will find a listing for it. You need to remove that or it wont be able to re-pair.

Enter zwave exclude and press the button to reset it.

If it still wont pair you may even have to reboot the hub to get it cleared.

I have totally rewritten the driver again. After your comment. You need to get the latest version. I have added a schedule to check for the device dropping off the mesh or batteries droping dead.
